1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WebsitePublisher.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including users who access the Service through AI assistants, API integrations, or any other means.

2. Service Description

WebsitePublisher.ai is an AI-native website publishing platform that enables AI assistants to create, manage, and publish websites on behalf of users. The Service provides:

  • API access for website creation and management (PAPI, MAPI, DAPI)
  • Subdomain hosting on websitepublisher.ai
  • Custom domain support (paid plans)
  • CDN-hosted asset delivery
  • Dashboard for account and project management

The Service is designed to work with various AI platforms including, but not limited to, Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok.

3. Accounts & Authentication

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials and API tokens
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account

You may not share your API tokens with third parties or use tokens belonging to others without authorization.

Token Types

The Service uses different token types for authentication:

  • Session Tokens (wps_) - For dashboard access and OAuth flows
  • Access Keys (wpa_) - For API access to specific projects

You can revoke tokens at any time through the dashboard.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must:

  • Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Not use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Not use the Service to impersonate any person or entity

5. Prohibited Content

⚠️ Publishing prohibited content will result in immediate takedown and may lead to account termination.

You may not use the Service to create, host, or distribute:

  • Phishing or fraud - Websites designed to deceive users or steal credentials
  • Malware - Content that distributes viruses, trojans, or other malicious software
  • Brand impersonation - Fake login pages or sites impersonating legitimate businesses
  • Illegal content - Content that violates any applicable law
  • Hate speech - Content promoting violence or discrimination against protected groups
  • Adult content - Pornographic or sexually explicit material
  • Harassment - Content designed to harass, bully, or threaten individuals
  • Scams - Cryptocurrency scams, investment fraud, or deceptive schemes
  • Copyright infringement - Content that infringes on intellectual property rights

We employ automated content scanning and manual review processes to detect prohibited content. Our content scanner checks for phishing indicators, login forms, brand impersonation, and other suspicious patterns before content is published.

6. AI-Generated Content

When you use AI assistants to create content through the Service, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for all content published to your account, regardless of whether it was generated by AI
  • AI-generated content must comply with these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy
  • You should review AI-generated content before publishing to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
  • We are not responsible for errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content generated by AI

7. Enforcement & Takedowns

To maintain the safety and integrity of the Service, we reserve the right to:

  • Remove or disable access to content that violates these Terms
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms
  • Report illegal activities to appropriate authorities
  • Cooperate with law enforcement investigations

Content Review Process

Our enforcement process includes:

  1. Automated scanning - Content is scanned before publication for prohibited patterns
  2. Abuse reports - Anyone can report suspicious content through our abuse reporting system
  3. Manual review - Reported content is reviewed by our team
  4. Takedown - Violating content is disabled with a redirect to a suspension notice

Appeals

If you believe your content was incorrectly removed, you may appeal by contacting us at support@websitepublisher.ai. Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create and publish through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

The WebsitePublisher.ai name, logo, and all related trademarks are the property of WebsitePublisher.ai. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WebsitePublisher.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through the dashboard. Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service will be revoked
  • Your published websites will be taken offline
  • Your data may be deleted after a retention period of 30 days

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
